“Many Hands Make Light Work!”

On a recent Tuesday afternoon, in early November, after Soup’s On, a group of women gathered in the church hall for the purpose of cleaning the chairs that we use weekly at the many functions in the church. Helen vacuumed every chair, after which the other women spot-sprayed and scrubbed the fabric seats and wiped the metal armrests clean.

Archdeacon Nancy gave the orders and cracked the whip, and the work detail was finished within an hour. It was with a great feeling of satisfaction that we left the chairs drying in the hall and adjourned for a cup of coffee.

The next task this group of 'intrepids' will undertake is the cleaning of the pew cushions in the sanctuary. Date and time to be announced.
